Reverend Chris Effiong Thomas, is the Administrator of the National Worship Centre Utako, Abuja, A liaison office for the National headquarters in Uyo, Akwa ibom state.
Chris Effiong has an instruction from the Lord to Raise End-time Soldiers, a people great and strong, carriers of Divinity; Men and Women distinguished by the desperate hunger for more of God and loaded with power from on high for the simplicity of the Gospel in the order of Joel 2. His Passion for service, worship, charismatic forthrightness, dedication to kingdom pursue, Christ- like humility and compassion for both the lost soul and hurting are his endearing and winning drive.
Reverend Chris Effiong’s message of hope and redemption emphasizes that no one is too lost or beyond God’s saving power, he believes that God’s love and mercy can reach anyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, He is convinced that no one is beyond God’s ability to save and transform.This conviction is rooted in Biblical teachings and reflects his commitment to sharing the Gospel with others.

Reverend Chris Effiong comes from a loving family that values faith and Spirituality. He is the first of six siblings born to Mr. and Mrs. Effiong Thomas, both hailing from Nkek in Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Early Life and Upbringing
Reverend Chris was born into a Christian family and was brought up in Qua iboe now Uec Rumuomasi port Harcourt Suprintendency , where he developed a strong foundation in his faith. He was dedicated to the Lord and later baptized in the United Evangelical Church, located at 42 Arochuwu Street in Port Harcourt.
Reverend Chris’s parents played a pivotal role in shaping his spiritual journey, laying the foundation for his faith and ministry. They instilled in him the values for God and of faith, love, and compassion, which have had a lasting impact on his life and ministry.
His parents were his first spiritual mentors, guiding him in his early years and nurturing his faith. They taught him the importance of prayer, waiting on God, Bible study, fellowship and retreat setting him on a path of spiritual growth development and quest for the supernatural.
The impact of Reverend Chris’s parents on his life and ministry cannot be overstated. Their influence has been lasting, shaping him into the person and minister he is today. Their legacy lives on through him, as he continues to spread the message of christ, hope and deliverance to others.
As the first of six siblings, Reverend Chris has a close-knit family that supports and encourages him in his ministry. His siblings are also an integral part of his life, and he values the bond they share as a family.
Reverend Chris Effiong has had a distinguished career in ministry, serving in various capacities that showcase his leadership skills and commitment to spreading the Gospel. His experience in pastoral work and leadership roles has prepared him to tackle complex challenges and inspire others in their faith journeys.

– Served as a Resident Pastor in multiple churches, including UEC Elelenwo, UEC Rumugwurshi, four towns, District Pastor uec Etebi Idung iwak and Currently serves as the Administrator of the National Worship Centre in Utako, Abuja.

He attended schools in Port Harcourt and Ahoada, Rivers State, Nigeria, where he trained to become a certified Marine Engineer.
– He obtained a Diploma in Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology between 2002-2006.

Most recently, Reverend Chris Effiong has successfully defended his dissertation on “The Impact of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance” With his dissertation defense successfully completed, Reverend Effiong awaits his convocation in May, a formal ceremony where he will be awarded his doctorate degree.
This significant achievement will mark the culmination of his academic journey, showcasing his quest for knowledge and expertise in transformational leadership and its effects on organizational performance
Rev Chris Effiong has been privileged to head some leadership position in and outside of the United Evangelical Church.
Presently he is the Secretary National Reverend ministers retreat forum. He is a member of the “in defence of the Gospel” an inter-denominational Tv program that features seasoned and sound gospel ministers within and outside of Akwa ibom state, with the aim of providing Biblical answers to doctrinal issues .A one time intercessory leader of the league of Christian friends International’ a non denominational fellowship, He was the mentor and supervisor Holy ghost empowerment outreach federal university of technology owerri (2009) and presently a member Akwa Ibom State government- house prayer team.
He has been privileged to work with UEC Elelenwo, Rumukrushi, all in PHC, He also served in UEC Four Towns which grew into a Superintendency status and Etebi Idung Iwak Eket etc.. as resident pastor,district pastor and now the administrator National Worship Centre Utako, Abuja. Nigeria
Reverend Chris Effiong is blessed with a loving family. He is married to Deaconess Joy Chris Effiong, and they have three biological children together: Emmanuel, Christabel, and Precious. In addition to their biological children, they also have many adopted sons and daughters. His family provides unwavering support and encouragement in his ministry and work.
